My oldest daughter needed some more room for books. She wanted a floating book shelf. So I made one.
I got a book from Goodwill. A 5″ L bracket from home depot. A pack of wood screws. I had the hot glue gun. You could use any type of glue.
Trace around the L bracket
Cut a grove just deep enough for the L bracket
Screw the bracket in place. Put some screws thru the pages to hold them together.
Put some glue on the cover and close up the book.
Mount the book to the wall. Make sure to mount it into a stud.
Now just stack your books ontop of it and your all done!!
