Went today to do the rear bumper. I knew there was a small rust hole in the right rear before I took off the bumper.
Utt Oh, looks like the car was hit on the right and pushed the bumper in….
Here is a close up where I start to sand away the rust
Remove the stone guard and you can see how extensive it is. Looks like a metal patch.
Here it is all sanded away with rust remover/protector brushed on. (Also on the inside, no pics)
I decided to throw a quick fiberglass patch over the inside and outside.
Well here it is. Notice the gap difference on the right side? Gonna have to fix that.
